For the Preen runway, Aveda lead stylist Paul Hanlon created a fun twist for a style reminiscent of the 1940s. "There is almost an element of Geisha to go with Preen's Japanese garden patterns," says Hanlon of the asymmetrical twisted-back 'dos. "Try it at home by dividing hair into two ponytails, rolling them in [around the edge of your hairline] and pulling loose strands into a low bun. Stick with your natural texture to soften the style—which looks graceful, Parisian and Audrey Hepburn-like."
