The Lytro camera (8GB $399; 16 GB $499), a new way to take pictures. Unlike a conventional camera that captures a single plane of light, the Lytro camera captures the entire light field, which is all the light traveling in every direction in every point in space. It packs in an 8x optical zoon, features a constant f/2 aperture, and captures 11 megarays of light. (That's 11 million rays of light). The anodized aluminum body has but two buttons, one for the shutter and another for power. There's also a touch sensitive zoom slider. The backside display is also touch sensitive. Available in both 8GB and 16GB models. It will ship in early 2012.
